Luna C. is a writer and high school special education English teacher in the United States. After teaching 7th grade English for five years, she now teaches self-contained English classes for 11th and 12th graders. She holds a BA in English from UMBC, with concentrations in Medieval and Early Modern Studies, Creative Writing, and secondary education. Her connection to Eminem's music began at age 10. Though always a fan, the release of his 12th studio album, The Death of Slim Shady in July 2024, sparked a renewed journey through his discography. What started as casual relistening transformed into an intensive exploration of Eminem's work and life. This exploration deepened into a profound appreciation for his artistic mastery, inspiring her to share her analysis and insights. Through this blog, she examines her personal connections to Eminem's work while building toward a comprehensive critical analysis of The Death of Slim Shady. She is also currently writing an Eminem-ELA curriculum aligned to the CCR English Anchor Standards.
